on what basis do we learn to trust someone.
through hardships, through a close brush with death
or simply through sheer gut feeling?
sometimes, its through a series of events,
a series of reassurance.

how do you gain someone else's trust?
in my opinion, you've got to be honest with them
for them to be honest with you. it works both ways.
it takes two hands to clap.
manipulation and deceit is definitely not the way
to gain someone else's trust.
there's no such thing as being forced to lie.
choices are presented to us and it is up to us to choose.

how do you know you can trust that someone?
you know you can trust them
when they tell you the truth.
how do you know its the truth?
when they look at you straight in the eyes,
without fidgetting or stammer as they speak.
if it is the truth,
words would flow smoothly like a river.
and there would be a sense of clarity
when you look at them.

knowing a lie and exposing it,
is another matter yet again.
personally, i would not expose a lie if i haven't
gotten the full picture on why i'm told a lie.
after evaluating the entire story,
i would go on a rampage if i know it was on purpose.
i believe i have every right to know the truth.
i deserve to be told only the truth.

writing about such controversial issues
reminds me of the days in RJ.
i can go on and on about it.
writing from extreme point of views.
producing essays that can go on and on forever.
